♡ Who is Rory? - He is my best friend and service dog. He's an 8-year-old Australian Cattle Dog. In 2 years, he will be retiring from his work but he will always be my family.
♡ The Situation: ♡
Rory has a tooth that is showing signs of infection. As of now, this is noticeable by swelling in his face and on the gum itself. He doesn't seem to be in pain yet, but obviously, we want to get this taken care of as soon as possible. It's better if we can fix the issue before it does cause him pain or becomes a more serious issue. (ex. blood infection.)
The lowest-cost vet in town quoted us $750 maximum for his treatment. (Yes, we called around.) This includes anesthesia, tooth removal, pain meds, antibiotics, and post-care. Normally, if Rory has health issues, they are much smaller. (Ex. a tummy bug) We've been able to handle them just fine even if they strain our finances a bit. But the amount for this surgery is simply not something we can come up with as quickly as it's needed.
So I am asking for help. Thank you for your consideration.

I do my best to keep him out of the craft room and away from inventory, including large curtains to block off the craft room, but fur can circulate despite our best intentions.
